Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival

The Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival (XRIJF) in Rochester, New York, is one of the nation's most popular and most respected music festivals.

The nine-day festival is held in the month of June at 19 different venues.

Founded in 2002-attendance at the Festival has grown each year, from 15,000 the first year to more than 196,000 in 2013-attracting music lovers from around the U.S. and the world.

From legendary performers and familiar favorites-to rising stars and new discoveries - this is a festival that navigates all genres of creative improvised music from all corners of the world.

Directions: The Festival is held in multiples venues, almost all within walking distance in Downtown's East End Cultural District. You can park once each day, walk to concerts and restaurants and enjoy the Festival. For Festival concerts park at the East End Garage, 475 Main St. East, Rochester, NY 14604. $2 per car, starting 5:00 PM daily including weekends. Several surface parking lots are also available in the area. For Jam Sessions at the Rochester Plaza Hotel, park in Sister Cities Garage, 8 N.
