In the Spring of 2008 the Cabrini GREEN Urban Meadow, a church back in the day and for years a rubble heap, opened up as a new NYC Park/Community Garden. Last year we had our first jazz show in the Urban Meadow, which was a part of the VISION-FEST bringing jazz to many of the city's community gardens. The Meadow participated with three bands participating. The new Cabrini GREEN Urban Meadow will be having free jazz shows every Sunday in June, which we’re calling “Jazz in June”.
