The New York Summer Music Festival at SUNY Oneonta - Established in 1889 as a state school, SUNY Oneonta is a multi-purpose college of liberal arts and sciences, known for its exceptional facilities and its beautiful campus.

Students are provided with opportunities to study extensively in many areas of instruction, including: Orchestras and bands for instrumentalists; Choral ensembles and original music theatre projects for vocalists; Composition workshops; A number of jazz classes and ensembles for those who desire intensive jazz training, and; Classes introducing new instruments, such as beginning piano and beginning guitar. In addition to supplemental classes spanning a wide range of ability levels and interests in areas of: music history, theory, computer technology in music, filmmaking, jazz improvisation, and many others!

HIGHWAY DIRECTIONS - (FROM SOUTH or WEST) Take either of these routes: New York State Thruway (I-90) East, to I-81 South Route 17 to Binghamton Exit to I-88 East Take Exit 15 off of I-88 LEFT onto Foster/Lettis Highway, which will become Maple Street. Continue with LOCAL DIRECTIONS

LOCAL DIRECTIONS - ( FROM MAPLE STREET ) LEFT onto Center Street. RIGHT onto West Street. RIGHT at the "SUNY College at Oneonta" sign onto Ravine Parkway and into the campus.
