The Highliners return to Silvana! Cool, funky Harlem venue with great Middle Eastern food and drinks.
The Highliners is a sophisticated jazz quintet dedicated to creating innovative arrangements of a wide range of material, from the American Song Book to deep-cut classic jazz and bebop to jazz-pop.
Founded by vocalist Melissa Fogarty and saxophonist Debra Kreisberg, The Highliners' creative direction reflects its musicians’ individual roots in Latin, klezmer, funk, rock, opera and beyond, and cultivates an original perspective on vintage repertoire, while also dissolving traditional boundaries.
