Starting with the recording of Miles Davis’s Bitches Brew, Lenny White has been contributing to the craft of drumming for four decades working with the likes of Chaka Khan, Gil Evans, Jaco Pastorius and Stan Getz. White is a core component in the Return to Forever lineup with Chick Corea, Al Di Meola and the aforementioned Stanley Clarke for the critically acclaimed and Grammy winning Romantic Warrior album as well as several solo projects since.

Ukraine born pianist Ruslan Sirota has been playing jazz since he picked up his first guitar at four before transitioning to the piano at seven. With craft appreciation and determination, Sirota has done his best to take the jazz world by storm ever since with his knowledge of acoustic piano as well as keyboards. He has worked with Seal, Josh Groban, Ne-Yo, Eric Benét, Marcus Miller as well the Los Angeles Philharmonic and George Duke. As well as being apart of the The Stanley Clarke band with Ronald Bruner, Jr. that took home the Grammy for best contemporary jazz album in 2011, where he contributed the original composition “Soldier” to the album The Stanley Clarke Band.

These two vital musicians will be joining Mr. Stanley Clarke with other guests all week at the Blue Note April 22- 27, which will be worthy of your attention not just because of merit but skill and technique.
