Griot-guitarist Mamady Kouyaté is a veteran of the great orchestras of the golden age of Guinean dance bands. He leads a collection of world class musicians in a celebration of Manding music inflected with Latin rhythms and guitar lines drawn from Guinea’s centuries-old musical traditions.
