The Art Bailey Trio gathers at the Firehouse Space to celebrate their first release, “Quiet As A Bone”. Please join us! A short walk from the Graham stop on the L.
Bassist Michael Bates and drummer Owen Howard, each formidable leaders and composers, team up with pianist Art Bailey for his first CD outing as a leader. This evening, they’ll be performing material from “Quiet As A Bone”, an album that finds the common ground the three musicians share- a world of space, silence, angular lyricism, and frenetic expression.
